As the exclusive Australian distributors, GROUP Engineering will be launching a new product during the Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition (QME).
Originally developed in the United States, GROUP Engineering Managing Director Alan Ruming said the potential applications of this PCSC USSI technology within Australia’s mining sector were limitless.
“The PCSC USSI’s Perimeter Protection technology employs 100 per cent fiber optic acoustical principles for the detection of intrusions on perimeter fences, tunnel excavation detections, real-time tracking of miners, pipeline leak detections, and coastal and waterway intrusions,” Mr Ruming said.
“The practical application of the PCSC USSI presents both safety and cost-saving benefits.”
