As an industry leader, GROUP attracted high levels of interest for both its products and its services during 2010’s Queensland Mining and Engineering (QME) exhibition.

GROUP Managing Director Allan Ruming said they were in the process of following up on several inquiries as well as incorporating excellent ideas and modifications to the products as a result of client feedback received at QME.

“From IR conveyor monitoring and collision avoidance for ship loaders to offshore jetty maintenance solutions, GROUP has developed a range of products that are truly unique and can be adapted to different environments,” Mr Ruming said.

“We also exclusively market PCSC USSI’s Perimeter Protection technology, which employs 100 per cent fiber optic acoustical principles for the real-time tracking of mine personnel underground, tunnel excavation detections, detection of intrusions on perimeter fences, pipeline damage or leakage or detection of coastal and waterway intrusions.

“The practical application of the PCSC USSI presents both safety and cost-saving benefits for the Australian mining, gas and oil sector.”

The exhibition was held at the Mackay Showground in conjunction with the inaugural QME Mining Industry Conference at the adjacent Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre.
