Introducing GROUP CCTV

GROUP CCTV is a division of GROUP Engineering, a long established company providing electrical, mechanical design and commissioning services.

Why choose GROUP CCTV? As an engineering company, we understand the importance of a properly engineered solution. We know that it isn't just a matter of buying good components, they must be compatible and able to work together to give the desired result, a cost effective, reliable solution.

We have designed and built a mobile CCTV platform that is totally independent and can provide CCTV monitoring and recording from up to 13km away. The platform is trailer based, and uses wind and solar power. Recording is done using an on-board digital video recorder, and remote connectivity is via an Ethernet radio using either 2.4GHz or 5GHZ spectrum, depending on requirements.

In-vehicle CCTV uses include:

· Electronic mirror functionality for large vehicles, with cameras that are automatically displayed when indicators or reverse gear are selected.

· Cameras to improve visibility when operating machinery, such as cameras mounted on the ends of boom sprayers to allow visual checking of spray overlap.

· When the recording option is used, the system can record information from the vehicle engine management systems and GPS information with the images from all cameras, allowing for improved vehicle management.

· In vehicle security for buses and taxis

FireVu is an advanced digital CCTV Smoke Detection system based on the NetVu platform. Its hard wired outputs are fully configurable contacts which are activated on smoke and / or flame detection. It continuously monitors and records the incoming video stream from up to four video cameras. It event records the information to the internal hard drive whilst distributing the smoke & flame events providing live and recorded video images to multiple users distributed over the TCP/IP network with full colour overlay of the event for fast visual verification.
